Quito
The long, thin city of Quito winds its way down a valley that eventually drops into the Amazon Basin. Take a short hike up for excellent panoramic views.

Baltra/Bachas
Breathe in fresh sea air and spend some time on Bachas Beach for a first glimpse of Galapagos wildlife. Discover why these islands developed a reputation among mariners as strange lands, long before Darwin visited.
Day 3
Genovesa
Spot fur seals and marine iguanas before taking to the waters for some swimming or snorkelling.
Day 4
Bartolome
Awake to the relaxing sound of waves lapping at the boat hull. Explore the solidified lava sheets of Sullivan Bay and see lava bubbles etched into its surface.
Days 5-6
Santa Cruz/Quito
Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station on Santa Cruz to see drawings of the evolutionary development of endemic species and other fascinating information about the area.
