Denali - Fairbanks: Venture into Denali National Park on the Natural History Tour in search of moose, caribou, bear and Dall sheep-and perhaps catch sight of Mt. McKinley's snowcapped majesty. Then board the McKinley Explorer to travel deeper into Alaska's exquisite interior. Transfer to your Fairbanks hotel with time for an evening stroll. Overnight Fairbanks.
Fairbanks: Relive the gold rush at its height in Fairbanks. Visit the fully restored Gold Dredge No. 8 to learn how it worked, pan for gold and enjoy a hearty miner's lunch. The afternoon and evening are free for optional excursions. Overnight Fairbanks. (L)
