Continue into the pine-covered Kaibab Plateau for our first view of the amazing Grand Canyon National Park at Mather Point. Enjoy the changing views of this natural wonder as we travel to our hotel located near the South Rim. : There is time this morning to admire the canyon's amazing colors in the sunrise light. Or, for an entirely different perspective, why not take an optional flightseeing tour for a spectacular bird's eye view of the Grand Canyon. Journey east into the vast Navajo Indian Reservation and stop at a historic Indian trading post with a chance to purchase native handicrafts. Then it's on through the Painted Desert to Glen Canyon Dam, spanning the Colorado River and backing up its waters to form the magnificent Lake Powell. With over 1,900 miles of towering sandstone shoreline, the lake's deep blue waters fill thousands of tiny fingers and hidden coves. There is time for an optional cruise on beautiful Lake Powell before tonight's dinner at the hotel. (Full Breakfast / Dinner)

Then, drive through some of the West's most breathtaking scenery, traveling through the Checkerboard Mesa and down toward impressive Zion Canyon.
